Meet McKaden

We're up and running! We hope to hear when we're traveling this next week. Every since we saw her crazy hair, cute cheeks, and beautiful face we can't wait to go. McKaden is waiting for us in an orphanage in Xin Yi, China. She will be a year old on November 25th. We're praying like mad that we can get to meet her before her birthday. We know she crawls, has 4 teeth, is in good health, and can be "obstinate at times"! We will keep you posted on our journey to meet McKaden!

A Note to my Husband

Today we found out that we are indeed going to China! After years of wondering how God was going to build our family, the answer is here! In a few days we will be finding out just when we will step foot in China to get this very special baby girl. Thank you Mark for walking this road with me. Thank you for stepping out in faith to see what God has for us. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. You are going to be an amazing father to our daughter... I can't wait for the day I get to see you hold her in your arms and call her your own. I think you are amazing and I love you so much! Here's to our continued adventure!
