Come on in, the water is fine

Ok, so the weather here has been a little cold - where is our summer? We have had a couple of days of good weather and the kids talked me into a little pool for the deck. The lake is still really cold, so this way they can still be in the water, while looking at the water. So come on over and play in the pool with us!

We all got short summer haircuts - yes, even me [but I am not so happy with it, so you might not see any pictures of me for some time]. McKaden looks adorable and Max so handsome!

What a GREAT Daddy

What can I say, I married the most amazing man. I adore my husband and feel spoiled that we had so many years together before we had kids. Life has been different with the addition of McKaden and VERY different with addition of Max - but it has allowed me to see another side of Mark. They say that when you see your husband as a father, you fall in love with him all over again ... I can say that has been true for me. Mark is such on involved, connected father - he spends quality time with his kids and devotes all of his attention [wish I could say that I gave them the full attention that he does], he is patient, fun and thoughtful. We are ALL blessed to have him.

And it is not McKaden this time ... what a clown! He asks me all the time to take his picture and boy can this kid pose. He is talking up storm and is getting better at pronouncing his words correctly. I was a little worried he might need speech therapy as he often would not say the first letter of his words - but that seems to be getting better. He has really adjusted well and we are so happy. Max is ALL BOY and he really does wear me out - it is true that boys and girls are very different to raise. He and McKaden play together more and more each day and really do seem to love each other. God is so good!
