Just a warning

Max is riding without training wheels now!! You might want to get off the streets!



We rode a lot of bikes last week on our small group vacation ... a little of this


and about two minutes of this at home and away he went!


McKaden has decided to keep the training wheels for now - because she can ride without hands. Not sure which is better.

[ps safety disclaimer - we were at a place everyone rides bikes on the quiet streets - and no one wear helmets. Finally, on the last day of the trip we found where the stash of helmets were. As you can see from the pictures from home he not only has on a helmet BUT elbow and knee pads -and trust me, he needs them!]

Maybe not so fancy

McKaden was invited to a "Fancy Nancy Party" for her friend Maddie who was turning 5 years old. She was excited to get dressed up and go out to this fancy party - and fancy it was! Here are the BEFORE pictures of our Miss Fancy McKaden.




When I went back to get her I found her downstairs playing with the train. We got to the car where she threw off her tutu, her tiara and boa - " I have had ENOUGH of this stuff", she said. Within two minutes of arriving home, she had put on her bike helmet and grabbed her bike [which says "devious" on it - that is the one she wanted!] and off she went.

So this is the after photo - Miss Devious McKaden. I love that she is just so versatile:)

Max and Mac Hawaiian Style

Max's review of his vacation - "I liked playing in Hawaii - swimming, the beach and taking off floaties and swimming in the water" [he can now take breaths and swim across the pool].

Too many cute pictures so I decided to divide them up ...

The kids lived for the water! Early morning snorkeling and afternoon pool time. I am fairly sure that these two were the youngest snorkelers around - adorable! They also loved the slide at the resort pool and spent a lot of time in and out of the water. Both really improved on their swimming skills - we are so proud of them!

Hawaii part one

Another successful trip to Hawaii for our little family of four. It was a great time and we cannot believe that we have come and gone. The trip over was easy, we got our car, which the kids named it "Speedy" and absolutley LOVED! We did our usual stop off at Costco, Starbucks and on to the condo. We were greeted by a beautiful rainbow and a wonderful room with a view! Of course it did not take us long to hit the pool, the waterslide and the beach. More pictures to come soon ... Aloha!
