We are big on swimming around our house - yes, we live by the water and that plays a a part - but we love being in and around the water, vacationing by the water, water sports and all that good stuff. We are looking forward to summer! Anyhow, last night Mark took Max to his first swimming lesson. We do want Max to have some water safety skills and some basic swimming skills, but these lessons are more for bonding and trust. Max was a little unsure [the kid just started taking baths for crying out loud] but also seemed to enjoy it. I will let you know how he progresses. Notice the cute swimsuit that our friend Jack sent to Max - it is like 24 months size and he just cannot keep it up ... so back to target I go to look for 18 months. There is nothing worse than losing your suit at the local pool!!
We head to the doctor today to start on the long lists of tests on this little guy. He seems healthy, but we do want to make sure that is true. We also need to verify that his immunizations are up to date - there is going to be a lot of blood work involved, so we would LOVE your prayers for this. If you hear screaming at 4p it will be us at the doctor.
PS - the doctor got changed to next week as the doctor was sick ... can they do that?

Praying the testing went well. We did that on Tues, and it was a long day! Love the bathing suit!
